Saturday 5 July 2008

For the Voice

The artists/musicians invited to participate in this strand have a sound characterised by experimental vocal techniques, such as use of vernacular speech or regional dialect. The title is a reference to El Lissitsky’s 1923 collection of poems for reading aloud (the spoken element combines with the visual element or ‘book constructor’ to create a hybrid sound/image form).
